A Soft Blue Garden Dream

The heart of their reception design was a palette of soft blues, off-whites, and lush greens. From the moment guests entered the reception, they were transported into a garden-inspired atmosphere.

Natural textures played a key role in the design. Infinity antique natural chairs and tall trees brought a grounded, organic feel to the space, while white florals with hints of pale blue and green added a fresh, romantic air. String lights across the ceiling of the tent brought the magic to dinner as dusk settled in.

A Love That Grew With Time

Mary Layton and Thomas first met as toddlers, and their families were closely intertwined through childhood. They reconnected at Wake Forest, where their friendship grew into a romance. Their wedding was a celebration of lifelong friendship and history between two families.
